I am writing this article at the end of march, so this is spring ! Talking about seasons, let’s learn how to say them in French !
To help you pronounce the words, I put the letters that you don’t pronounce in grey !
Then, I remind the gender (that is always the same).
Finally, you will find the preposition that has to be used.
Le printemps (spring) | Masculine gender | Nous sommes au printemps. (We are in the spring.) |
L’été (summer) | Masculine gender | En été, je vais à la mer. (In the summer, I go to the sea.) |
L’automne (autumn/fall) | Masculine gender | En automne, les feuilles tombent. (In the autumn, leaves fall.) |
L’hiver (winter) | Masculine gender | En hiver, il fait très froid. (In the winter, it’s very cold.) |
Since I am not completly fluent in English, don’t hesitate to tell me if I have to do some modifications in this language 🙂
Je vous souhaite un bon printemps !
