I am writing this article at the end of march, so this is spring ! Talking about seasons, let’s learn how to say them in French !

To help you pronounce the words, I put the letters that you don’t pronounce in grey !

Then, I remind the gender (that is always the same).

Finally, you will find the preposition that has to be used.

Le printemps (spring)Masculine genderNous sommes au printemps.
(We are in the spring.)
L’été (summer)Masculine genderEn été, je vais à la mer.
(In the summer, I go to the sea.)
L’automne (autumn/fall)Masculine genderEn automne, les feuilles tombent.
(In the autumn, leaves fall.)
L’hiver (winter)Masculine genderEn hiver, il fait très froid.
(In the winter, it’s very cold.)

Since I am not completly fluent in English, don’t hesitate to tell me if I have to do some modifications in this language 🙂

Je vous souhaite un bon printemps !
